PRAGUE, Nov 9 (Reuters) - Czech downstream petrochemicals group Unipetrol <UNPEsp.PR> reiterated on Thursday that it expects 2006 full year EBIT and net profit to be near the same level of the previous year, without one-off effects.
"All signals indicate that in a standard environment, the company should reach, both at the level of EBIT and net profit, close to those levels of last year and also the (managment) plan for 2006," Financial director Petr Sosik told journalists.
He added the company will take two one-off charges in 2006 including a 387 million crown loss on the sale of chemicals unit Spolana, and a 324 million crown tax charge related to investment incentives the firm hopes to get back from the state.
Unipetrol posted a 3.46 billion crown net profit in 2005 on an operational profit (EBIT) of 5.27 billion. ((Reporting by Jan KOrselt, Writing by Alan Crosby; prague.newsroom@reuters.com; Reuters Messaging: alan.crosby.reuters.com@reuters.net; +420 224 190 477))
