PRAGUE, Nov 13 (Reuters) - Czech nuclear power plant Temelin has re-connected its 1,000 megawatt Unit 1 to the electricity grid after a weekend shutdown for a test on its regulatory systems, the firm said on Monday.
The unit was running at full output on Monday morning, the plant's spokesman said in a statement.
Temelin has also re-launched the reactor at its 1,000 megawatt Unit 2, which had been idle since late August for a regular fuel exchange.
The spokesman said the Unit 2 would renew electricity supplies to the grid after a series of tests which should take about a week to conclude.
The plant is the biggest asset of state-owned utility CEZ <CEZPsp.PR>.
