PRAGUE, Nov 28 (Reuters) - Czech natural gas prices will drop by 8.6 percent on average in January, including a 4.2 percent decline for households, the energy market regulator (ERU) said on Tuesday.

Average gas prices, which the regulator sets every quarter, fell by 5.3 percent in October.

Electricity prices for Czech households will rise 7.9 percent year-on-year in 2007, the ERU said.

The Czech gas market is dominated by RWE Transgas, a unit of Germany's RWE <RWEG.DE>. Czech state-owned utility CEZ <CEZPsp.PR> and Germany's E.ON <EONG.DE> are the two main suppliers of electricity.
