Dec 7 (Reuters) - Slovak real gross domestic product rose by 9.8 percent, year-on-year, in the third quarter of 2006, accelerating from 6.7 percent growth in the second quarter, the Slovak Statistics Office said on Thursday. The figure is exactly the same as what the bureau reported in its flash estimate last month. Statistics Office said in a statement it forecast GDP growth of 7.7 percent for the whole of 2006, up from its previous estimate of 6.5 percent growth. It said first quarter 2007 GDP growth is expected at 7.2 percent. It also added that it saw headline CPI at 4.3 percent at the end of 2006, up from a previous forecast of 4.0 percent.
