PRAGUE, Dec 6 (Reuters) - Here are news stories, press reports and events to watch which may affect Czech financial markets on Wednesday:

TRADE DATA

October foreign trade data <CZFTB=ECI> are due for release at 9 a.m. (0800 GMT).

Analysts predict a 4.0 billion crown ($190.2 million) surplus, according to the median forecast in a Reuters poll <ECONCZ>, after a 7.5 billion surplus a month earlier.

15-YEAR BOND SALE

The finance ministry offers a 7 billion crown ($332.9 million) tranche tapping the 3.75 percent bond due 2020 <CZ15YT=RR> in an auction to be conducted by the central bank.

In an auction of the same paper last month, bids reached 1.81 times the amount sold in the first round of the tender.

FINANCE MINISTER ON FISCAL REFORM

Finance Minister Vlastimil Tlusty gives a lecture on "Public Finance Reform" at 7 p.m. (1800 GMT).

Lower house deputies have already distributed 3.8 billion crowns from the state budget as part of the annual allocations to to their constituencies, diverting money to projects that include football fields, ski lifts, and the like, writes the daily Hospodarske Noviny. If the government fails to save elsewhere, the budget deficit could increase to up to 102.3 billion crowns as a result, the daily reports.

CABINET MEETING

The outgoing cabinet meets in a regular weekly session. News conference is tentatively scheduled for 9:30 p.m. (2030 GMT).

PEGAS IPO

The indicative price range for an initial public offering of shares in artificial fabrics maker Pegas Nonwovens is 21.5 to 27 euros per share, a market source said.

The company is due to debut on the Prague Stock Exchange on Thursday under the symbol <ECMPsp.PR>.

LEFTISTS SET DEADLINE FOR GOVT

The Czech Republic's leftist Social Democrats gave Prime Minister Mirek Topolanek a Dec. 15 deadline to reach a deal and form a government, or they would try to do so on their own.

Right-wing Civic Democrats are expected to submit present political parties with a draft programme for a coalition government they are trying to build.

EURO CONVERGENCE

EU newcomers should step up efforts to join the euro zone as their progress on cutting inflation and high budget deficits is patchy, the European Commission and the European Central Bank (ECB) said.

POLL: ECONOMY TO SLOW, INFLATION TO TICK HIGHER

The Czech economy is forecast to have grown at a 5.2 percent clip in the third quarter, deepening the slowdown from its cycle peak early this year, a Reuters poll showed before the GDP data release on Friday.

Inflation is forecast to tick up to 1.5 percent in November from a near 1-1/2-year low of 1.3 percent in October. The jobless rate is seen dipping to 7.3 percent from 7.4 percent a month earlier.
