Czech Telefonica O2 down as stock goes ex-div

PRAGUE, Sept 21 (Reuters) - Shares in Telefonica O2 Czech Republic <SPTTsp.PR> slid 7 percent at the open on Thursday as the stock went ex-dividend.

The firm is paying a 45 crown dividend per share.

"It fell as low as 445 crowns, but now there is some buying," said Komercni Banka trader Radek Neumann.

The share stood at 452.5 crowns at 0756 GMT, down from 486.80 at Wednesday's close.
