BRATISLAVA, Sept 19 (Reuters) - The Slovak crown <EURSKK=> eased on Wednesday as the Hungarian forint dragged central European currencies to weaker levels, dealers said. The Slovak unit stood at 37.460 to the euro as of 1450 GMT, a touch weaker from 37.430 late on Monday. The Slovak unit tracked the Hungarian forint, Polish zloty and Czech crown lower as investors worried about the fate of economic reforms in the region after anti-government riots in Hungary. "The crown moved according to the Hungarian forint, but it was nothing dramatic. It did not move (weaken) through 37.500 because there were good offers there," one foreign bank dealer in Bratislava said. The crown has moved between 37.300 and 37.500 to the euro for around a week, and dealers did not expect significant jumps in the coming days. "The range still holds, all will depend on the regional mood," the dealer said. The next major domestic event is a central bank monetary policy meeting on Sept. 26. ----------------MARKET SNAPSHOT AT 1450 GMT------------------- Crown/Euro <EURSKK=> 37.460 vs 37.430 (-0.07 pct) on Monday Crown/Dollar <SKK=> 29.492 vs 29.498 (+0.02 pct) 5-yr govt bond <SK5YT=RR> yield 5.069/4.769 vs 5.045/4.736 9-yr govt bond <SK9YT=RR> yield 4.960/4.760 vs 4.925/4.726 -------------------------------------------------------------- ((Reporting by Martin Santa, editing by Ruth Pitchford; martin.santa@reuters.com; Reuters Messaging: martin.santa.reuters.com@reuters.net; +421-2 5341 8402)) Keywords: MARKETS SLOVAKIA CROWN CLOSE
