FRANKFURT, Sept 19 (Reuters) - German sporting goods firm Adidas <ADSG.DE> has bought the distribution rights for its recently acquired Reebok brand in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
From the start of 2007, Adidas will become the exclusive distributor of Reebok products in the two countries.
Adidas said earlier this year it had also bought the distribution rights for Reebook in Russia and China.
Distributor buy-outs will provide the group with annual revenue synergy benefits of at least 200 million euros ($253 million) by 2009, the company said in the statement. ((Reporting by Catherine Hornby, + 49 69 7565 1263, catherine.hornby.reuters.com@reuters.net)) ($1=.7898 Euro)
