PRAGUE, Sept 27 (Reuters) - The Czech central bank (CNB) said on Wednesday its board has started a monthly monetary policy meeting to discuss economic developments and interest rate settings.

The CNB usually announces any decision on interest rates sometime after 12 p.m. (1000 GMT). A news conference is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. (1330 GMT).

Last week the bank said all seven board members will attend the meeting.

Most analysts expect the CNB to leave interest rates unchanged. But a growing number expect a 25 basis point hike due to a worsening fiscal outlook, signs of growing household demand and a weakening of the crown currency.

Most expect at least one interest rate hike by the year end.
