PRODUCER PRICES
September producer prices (PPI) and August foreign trade prices are due for release at 9 a.m. (0700 GMT).
CURRENT ACCOUNT
August current account balance is due out at 10 a.m. (0800 GMT).

POLITICAL TALKS
President Vaclav Klaus meets Christian Democrat (KDU-CSL) leaders at 1:30 p.m. (1130 GMT). Klaus has said he will not name a new prime minister until after local and Senate elections to be held later this month.
COMMUNISTS REJECT EARLY POLLS
The Communist Party rejected calls for early elections after the fall of the country's centre-right government, saying they wanted the left-leaning Social Democrats to try to form a cabinet.
TELEFONICA O2 CLEARED
The competition watchdog turned down a protest by telecoms firm GTS Novera against two IT Ministry orders, worth 805 million crowns ($35.71 million), awarded to dominant telecoms player Telefonica O2 Czech Republic <SPTTsp.PR>.
INDUSTRIAL OUTPUT
Industrial output rose by a slower than expected 7.4 percent year-on-year rate in August, after upwardly revised 12.2 percent growth in the prior month.

EU COMMISSIONER
European Commissioner for the Internal Market Charlie McCreevy gives a speech entitled "The Future of Europe and the Internal Market" at 11 a.m. (0900 GMT).
CEZ EYES FURTHER EXPANSION
Power utility CEZ <CEZPsp.PR> is considering taking part in the tender for the construction of a coal power plant in Kosovo, worth an estimated 80 billion crowns ($3.55 billion), writes the daily Mlada fronta Dnes.
