Nov 27 (Reuters) - Czech President Vaclav Klaus picked former management board member and analyst Mojmir Hampl as a new member of the seven-seat central bank board on Monday.
The following are key facts on Hampl:
* Born March 3, 1975.
* Graduated in 2004 from University of Economics in Prague.
* Worked as an analyst at the Czech National Bank between 1998-2002; took scholarship at Britain's University of Surrey in 2001; senior analyst at Czech savings bank Ceska Sporitelna, a unit of Erste Bank <ERST.VI>, between 2002-2004; member of the management board at state-run bad debt vehicle Consolidation Agency (CKA) between 2004 and spring 2006.
* A right-wing economist; advocate of free market in many essays he wrote for think-tank papers and other publications.
* Klaus wrote a preface to Hampl's booklet published in 2004 on exploitation of natural resources, which argued that the invisible hand of the market serves better to allocating resources than state regulation.
