Oct 3 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals involving European, U.S. and Asian companies were reported by 2000 GMT on Tuesday:
** Baxter International Inc. <BAX.N> said it has agreed to sell its transfusion therapies business to private equity firm Texas Pacific Group for $540 million. [nN03255916]
** Globix Corp. <GEX.A> agreed to sell the interests in its U.S. hosting business to privately-held Quality Technology Services for $20 million in cash as part of its review of strategic options. [nWNAS7975]
