PRAGUE, Oct 3 (Reuters) - Brokerage Wood&Co said on Tuesday it has raised its recommendation on Czech downstream petrochemicals group Unipetrol <UNPEsp.PR> to "buy" from "hold", and its target price to 250 crowns from 220 crowns.
Wood said in a research report that the possible exit of Conoco from central Europe would allow Unipetrol a chance to increase its stake in refiner Ceska Rafinerska, which could raise processing capacity.
At 1213 GMT Unipetrol shares were trading at 198.0 crowns, up 2.05 percent on the session, outpacing the main index <.PX>, which was up 0.6 percent.
