SEPTEMBER PMI
Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) for September is due out at 9:30 a.m. (0730 GMT).

The Finance Ministry is expected to release end-September budget balance. The report is usually due out at 2 p.m. (1200 GMT).
PUBLIC BUDGET REPORT
The Statistical Bureau releases a public budget deficit report to the EU's Eurostat for 2002-2005.
DEPUTY FINMIN SACKED
Finance Minister Vlastimil Tlusty has sacked Eduard Janota, his deputy for budgets, amid a controversy over advertisements warning citizens about the public debt.

CEZ MULLS SHARE BUYBACK
State-controlled Czech power producer CEZ <CEZPsp.PR> said on Friday it is considering a plan to buy back as much as 10 percent of its stock from the open market, boosting the stock in early trade on the Prague bourse.
