President Vaclav Klaus appointed two new members to the seven-seat CNB policy board. The two are 32-year-old academic Vladimir Tomsik and 31-year-old liberal economist Mojmir Hampl. They will decide on interest rates for the first time at the Dec. 20 policy meeting.
