PRAGUE, Dec 7 (Reuters) - Czech nuclear power station Temelin shut down its Unit 2 on Thursday after a problem in the non-nuclear part of the station, the plant's operator CEZ <CEZPsp.PR> said after the CTK news agency reported the outage.
CEZ said the fault was caused by a wrong signal in the system that supplies water to the steam generators.
The 1,000 megawatt unit should be reconnected to the power grid on Friday, the company said. ((Reporting by Jan Lopatka, prague.newsroom@reuters.com; Reuters Messaging: jan.lopatka.reuters.com@reuters.net; +420-224 190 474))
