    BRATISLAVA, Dec 8 (Reuters) - Here are news stories, press 
reports and events to watch which may affect Slovak financial 
markets on Friday. 
     
    OCT OUTPUT DATA 
    The statistics office will release October industrial and 
construction output data (0800 GMT) 
     
    BUDGET DEBATE 
    Deputies will continue debating the 2007 state budget draft. 
The vote was tentatively scheduled for noon on Friday, but 
deputies may postpone it until next week if they do not finish 
the debate by then. 
     
    C.BANK TO RELEASE WEEKLY FOREX RESERVES DATA 
    The central bank will release weekly forex reserves data 
(1300 GMT). 
     
    PARLIAMENT MAY DELAY BUDGET VOTE UNTIL TUES 
    The Slovak parliament may postpone its vote on the 2007 
state budget until Tuesday, from preliminary vote scheduled for 
Friday, due to longer-than-expected debate on the draft, a 
Finance Ministry spokesman said on Thursday.

    GDP JUMPS TO RECORD, MAY BRING RATE HIKE 
    The Slovak economy grew by a record 9.8 percent in the third 
quarter, data showed on Thursday, and analysts said the fast 
expansion may bring another interest rate hike in the coming 
months.

    KIA TO EXPAND ENGINE PRODUCTION IN SLOVAKIA 
    South Korea's Kia Motors <000270.KS> will build a new 
production unit to raise engine output capacity at its Slovak 
car factory, Kia Motors Slovakia President In-Kyu Bae said on 
Thursday.

    Q3 GDP +9.8 PCT Y/Y, MATCHES ESTIMATE 
    The Slovak economy grew by a real 9.8 percent, year-on-year, 
in the third quarter, the Slovak Statistics Office said on 
Thursday.

    Q3 REAL AVERAGE WAGE +2.7 PCT Y/Y 
    The real average wage in Slovakia rose by 2.7 percent 
year-on-year in the third quarter of 2006, slowing down from 4.0 
percent growth in the second quarter, the Slovak Statistics 
Office said on Thursday.

    A regional electricity distributor Zapadoslovenska
