TABLE-Slovak Dec CPI flat m/m, +4.2 pct y/y

    Slovak consumer prices held flat 
month-on-month in December, cutting the annual inflation 
rate by a tad to 4.2 percent, the Statistics Office said on 
Friday.

    NOTE. The data were calculated according to Slovak 
methodology. 
    Analysts in a Reuters poll predicted consumer prices to have 
risen by 0.1 on the month in December, for an annual inflation 
rate of 4.3 percent. 
    Core inflation was forecast to have risen by 0.1 percent 
month-on-month, and at 2.9 percent year-on-year
