RPT-RPG sells Hunagrian Pannonpower to Dalkia

Privately-held investment group RPG sold an 85 percent stake in Hungarian power firm Pannonpower Holding Zrt to a unit of France's Dalkia, RPG said on Monday.

Pannonpower operates a 190 megawatt biomass and gas-burning power plant in the southern Hungarian town of Pecs.

The price of the deal was not disclosed.

RPG said in a statement Pannonpower had $85 million profit last year.

Dalkia, a unit of Veolia Enviornnement and EDF , also bought an additional 14.9 percent in Pannonpower from minority shareholders, the statement said.

RPG is owned by an international group of investors led by Czech financier Zdenek Bakala and including London-based fund Crossroads.
