TABLE-Czech c.bank end-Jan FX reserves 24.22 bln euro

    The Czech central bank (CNB) said on 
Wednesday its foreign exchange reserves edged up to 24.22 
billion euros at the end of January from a revised 23.88 billion 
euros a month earlier. 
    In dollar terms, reserves dipped to $31.38 billion from a 
revised $31.45 billion, the bank said. The CNB holds the bulk of 
its reserves in euros with the remainder in dollars.

    NOTE. The central bank said it did not conduct any spot 
foreign exchange market operations in December. 
    It bought foreign currency worth 38.59 million euros in 
client operations in December.
