Central Europe's largest power company CEZ posted on Thursday fourth quarter 2006 net attributable profit of 6.6 billion crowns, below the consensus forecast of 7.28 billion crowns and down from 6.9 billion a year ago.
Fourth quarter sales reached 45.9 billion crowns, versus 42.27 billion predicted by nine analysts in a Reuters poll.
Full-year net profit, including minority interests, rose 29.1 percent to 28.8 billion crowns.
CEZ at the same time raised its full-year 2007 net profit outlook by 1.1 billion crowns to 35.1 billion crowns, before minority interests.
