CIVIC DEMOCRAT LEADERS TO MEET

The leadership of Prime Minister Mirek Topolanek's the Civic Democratic Party (ODS) is to meet on Friday at 1500 GMT. The party is likely to discuss various issues, including hosting a radar base proposed by the U.S. as part of its missile defence plan, the EU constitution and euro adoption.

BLUE CHIPS REPORT RESULTS

Net profit at Telefonica O2 Czech Republic rose 28.3 percent in 2006, just below market expectations, but the dividend was increased 11 percent. [nL22584459]

Central Europe's largest power company, CEZ, missed forecasts with a fall in fourth-quarter net profit, but its shares rose on solid operating performance and an improved outlook for 2007. [nL22393709]

CEZ SALE TO BE ON GOVERNMENT AGENDA WEDNESDAY
