TABLE-Slovak Jan PPI -0.5 pct m/m, +3.4 pct y/y

    Slovak producer prices fell 0.5 percent 
month-on-month in January, confounding market expectations of a 
mild rise and slashing the annual growth rate for factory-gate 
costs (PPI) to 3.4 percent, data showed on Wednesday.

    NOTE. Analysts polled by Reuters had forecast producer 
prices to have risen by 0.3 percent month-on-month in January, 
for an annual rate of 4.3 percent  . All
