JULY CONSTRUCTION OUTPUT +9.1 PCT Y/Y
Slovak construction output rose by a real 9.1 percent year-on-year in July after a 6.5 percent annual rise in June, the Statistics Office said on Monday.

SLOVAKIA SELLS SKK 1.86 BLN WORTH OF 3-YR BONDS
Slovakia sold 1.86 billion crowns ($88.11 million) worth of 3-year, zero-coupon state bonds <SK010411209=> in an auction on Monday, the Finance Ministry's Debt and Liquidity Management Agency said.

EMPLOYMENT TAXES
Social Affairs Minister Viera Tomanova has proposed to raise employment taxes for small individual entrepreneurs by up to 2,000 crowns ($94.74). Tomanova says this will secure higher pensions for them in the future, but economic analysts criticise the proposal.
