TPSA
Polish telecom regulator UKE decide to go ahead with the split of the country's leading operator TPSA <TPSA.WA> into two units to boost market liberalisation, the watchdog's chief was quoted as saying on Monday. [

OPTIONS
Polish companies have so far owned up to 500 million zlotys ($166 million) in losses from currency hedging after being wrong-footed by the zloty's drop since September. [
]Economy Minister Waldemar Pawlak will discuss the issue at a news conference at 1215 GMT.
POL-AQUA
Polish builder Pol-Aqua <PQAA.WA>, which has lost 80 percent of its market value this year and scrapped its 2008 forecasts, has no exposure to currency options and expects 2009 sales to grow by 20-25 percent, its chief executive tells Parkiet.
CAR INVESTMENT
U.S. carmaker FORD <F.N> and France's Renault <RENA.PA>, which have production plants in Romania, have asked the government to offer state guarantees for a combined 500 million euros worth of planned investment, Ziarul Financiar reports.
PETROL
Bulgaria's fuel distributor Petrol <PETB.BB> posted a consolidated profit of 281.1 million levs ($190.7 million) for the first nine months of 2008, compared to a loss of 2.74 million levs in the year-ago period, Pari writes.
ZELMER
Poland's leading home appliance producer Zelmer <ZELM.WA> on Friday cut its 2008 net profit forecast by 32 percent to 33.6 million zlotys because it had to set aside 18.6 million to cover losses on currency hedging contracts with four commercial banks.
ASSECO
Asseco Poland <SOBK.WA>, eastern Europe's top software group, sold 0.9 million treasury shares on Friday, less than previously planned. [

GETIN
Michal Handzlik will become the chief executive of Getin Bank, a part of the financial group Getin Holding <GETI.WA>, in January, and plans to put more focus on cash loans rather than mortgage lending, he tells Parkiet.
NETIA
MNI <SZEP.WA> and Crowley Data Poland want to buy a stake in Poland's No.2 telecom operator Netia <NTIA.WA> from Islandic fund Novator, with Crowley alone willing to purchase the mobile phone operator P4 from Novator, Puls Biznesu daily reports, citing a person close to the fund.
BUDAPEST AIRPORT
Talks between striking unions and Budapest Airport broke down on Sunday, unions said, causing more delays and flight cancellations at Hungary's biggest international airport.

Gazprom of Russia, GdF of France, E.ON of Germany and also financial investors are interested in purchasing Budapest's majority stake in local natural gas distributor Fogaz, Hungarian press writes.
