Central Bank Governor Ivan Sramko and Finance Minister Jan Pociatek will observe the launch of minting of Slovak euro coins in the central Slovak town of Kremnica.
PRICE MONITORING
The Statistics Office will publish results of the first 10-day monitoring of retail prices introduced for euro adoption.

PM FICO WARNS MAY EXPROPRIATE UTILITIES

PM CONFIRMS 2009 FISCAL GAP
Prime Minister Robert Fico has confirmed that 2009 public finance deficit would be 1.7 percent of the gross domestic product (GDP). He added the government would pursue overall fiscal consolidation.
