0803 22Sept2008 TPSA, TVN lead Warsaw rebound --------------------------------------------------------------
Poland's top telecom TPSA <TPSA.WA> gains nearly 4 percent as some investors return to selective defensive stocks battered in last week's retreat, traders say.
The country's largest listed broadcaster TVN <TVNN.WA> also gains as some money returns into the market, rising as much as 5 percent.
"TVN got hit pretty badly recently so it bounces back," Wojciech Wosko, trader at DM BZ WBK in Warsaw said.
"When investors decide to come back, they buy into TPSA, which has a defensive-stock status. Share buyback at the company also helps."
Both stocks outperform a 1.1 percent gain for Warsaw's blue-chip WIG20 index <
