JAN FOREIGN TRADE
The Statistics Office will publish January foreign trade balance data, 0800 GMT. Analysts expected a 33.8 million euro surplus.
PM AT EU SUMMIT IN BRUSSELS
The Prime Minister Iveta Radicova will attend the European Union summit in Brussels, press conferences shceduled for 1415 and 2000 GMT
U.S. EMBASSY ON GLOBAL INTEGRITY REPORT
U.S embassy and Global Integrity will comment on the report on transparency and measures against the corruption in Slovakia, news conference 1500 GMT.
ECB'S MAKUCH: APRIL HIKE POSSIBLE, NO CORRIDOR TWEAK
A European Central Bank interest rate rise is possible next month, ECB policymaker Jozef Makuch said on Thursday, but any such move would not see the bank rewiden its so-called rate corridor or signal the start of a tightening cycle.
