OCTOBER EU-NORM INFLATION
The Statistics Office will publish October EU-norm inflation data, 0800 GMT. Analysts expected October prices to rise by 0.2 on the month, putting the annual inflation rate at -0.1 percent.
REVISED 1995-2008 GDP DATA
The Statistics Office will publish revised GDP growth data for 1995-2008 period, 0800 GMT. Slovakia's economy rose by 6.4 percent on the year in 2008, following its record 10.4 percent growth in 2007.
SEPT NEW INDUSTRIAL ORDERS
The Statistics Office will publish new industrial orders data for September, 0800 GMT.
SLOVAKS PLAN EUR 150 MLN IN BONDS BY YEAR-END
Slovakia plans to sell at least 150 million euros worth of bonds at two auctions by the end of this year, the finance ministry's Debt Agency said on Friday, reiterating it is keeping its 2010 gross borrowing plan.

Q3 PRELIM GDP +1.6 PCT Q/Q, -4.9 PCT Y/Y
The Slovak economy contracted by a real 4.9 percent year-on-year in the third quarter of 2009, less than the 5.3 percent fall in the second quarter, the Slovak Statistics Office said on Friday.

Slovakia said on Friday it was upset by slow progress in its talks with Russia over new gas storage and guarantees of supply stability after suffering badly last January during a gas row between Russia and Ukraine.

FICO'S SMER DOMINATES REGIONAL ELECTION
Prime Minister Robert Fico's Smer party dominated Saturday's regional election, of country's eight regions. Smer boosted number of its deputies to 135, compared with 70 deputies in the 2005 vote.
Four heads of regions, all Smer, were elected already in the first round. Slovaks will hold general election next June.

Local media, opposition politicians reported shady practices during Saturday's regional election, including buying votes of among members of the Gypsy minority and manipulation with ballots.

KIA SEES 2010 OUTPUT OF 210,000 CARS IN SLOVAKIA
Kia Motors said sees production in Slovakia at 210,000 cars next year, up from 150,000 this year. It will add Hyundai ix35 model next January. The company plans to start its assembly plant for engines in 2011, with annual production capacity up to 450,000 units.

CAR ASSEMPLY PLANTS HALTS
Assembly plants of Volkswagen <VOWG.DE>, PSA Peugeot Citroen <PEUP.PA>, Kia Motors <000270.KS>, will halt production by the end of the year. Volkswagen and Kia Motors will stop production for two weeks. Peugeot schedule is not available yet.
