GREENS OPPOSE HEALTH REFORM: The Green Party, a partner in the ruling coalition, oppose the conversion of hospitals into joint stock companies, proposed by the senior coalition party, the Civic Democrats. The also demand that children and chronically ill patients are freed from newly introduced healthcare fees. Another coalition partner, the Christian Democrats, also demand changes in the fee system.
