TOKYO, Dec 10 (Reuters) - Gold edges above $1,130 an ounce on Thursday after hitting its lowest level in more three weeks the previous day when investors sold on expectations of a dollar bounce and easing inflation worries.
FUNDAMENTALS
* Spot gold <XAU=> was up 0.2 percent at $1,131.50 an ounce as of 2357 GMT, compared with New York's notional close of $1,128.80.
* Bullion is now down about 8 percent from its record high of $1,226.10 marked on Dec. 3.
* U.S. gold futures for February delivery <GCG0> rose 1.2 percent to $1,134.40 an ounce from $1,120.90 on NYMEX.
* The world's largest gold-backed exchange-traded fund, SPDR Gold Trust <GLD>, said its holdings stood at 1,116.247 tonnes as of Dec. 9, unchanged from the previous business day. [

* The dollar snapped a three-day advance against the euro on Wednesday as recent worries about governments' fiscal woes eased, sparking a modest rebound in demand for higher-yielding currencies and assets. [
]* U.S. stocks ended higher on Wednesday as the U.S. dollar fell and investors' appetite for risk returned, lifting shares of financial, technology and natural resource companies. [
]* Oil dropped more than 2 percent to settle below $71 a barrel on Wednesday after government data showed larger-than-expected builds in U.S. refined products due to weak demand in the world's top consumer. [
