It has sold more than 625,000 cars from January to November, reaching revenue of 2.8 billion crowns ($153.1 million), two thirds less than last year. It expect to double sales in China. For the whole 2009 it should sell 120,000 vehicles there, up from around 60,000 last year, a spokesman said. The Chinese market is what keeps the car producer above water, the paper said.

GOVERNMENT BONDS: The shares of Czech government bonds held by foreigners rose to 28 percent from 8 percent in 2003, which meant an increased risk as foreign investors are more inclined than local ones to sell bonds when a country is at risk.
