SINGAPORE, Nov 30 (Reuters) - Spot gold was steady on Tuesday, supported by continued worries about the fiscal health of euro zone nations.
FUNDAMENTALS
* Spot gold was little changed at $1,366.95 an ounce by 0026 GMT.
* U.S. gold futures gained 0.1 percent to $1,368 an ounce.
* The International Monetary Fund has slowed the rate of selling its gold by 40 percent in October from the previous month, as interest among central banks to own the metal increased as a hedge against economic uncertainty. [
]* The euro saw little reprieve early in Asia on Tuesday, mired at two-month lows as investors gave the Irish rescue package the thumbs down, believing other debt laden euro zone members will also require aid at some point.
* Holdings in the SPDR Gold Trust , the world's largest gold-backed exchange-traded fund, gained 1.519 tonnes to 1,286.603 tonnes on Nov 29, after staying unchanged for a week.
* Gold imports in India, the world's largest gold consumer, were seen rising more than 10 percent on the year to 34 tonnes in November, helped by holiday season and investment demand, a Reuters poll showed. [
]* China approved the country's first mutual fund that bets on gold prices, as inflation fears fuel demand for the precious metal. [
