The Statistics Office will publish April producer price data, 0700 GMT. Analyst forecast producer price inflation of 0.2 percent month-on-month and 5.3 percent year-on-year.

CBANK KEEPS RATES FLAT AFTER EURO VERDICT
Slovakia's central bank kept interest rates on hold, as expected, on Tuesday for the 13th consecutive month as the country gears up for euro adoption next year.

JAN-MARCH CURRENT ACCOUNT SWINGS TO DEFICIT
Slovakia's current account swung to a deficit in March, central bank data showed on Tuesday, and analysts said the worsening in the external balance was partly due to dividend payments to foreign investors.

Slovakia's gross foreign debt rose to $46.632 billion at the end of February from $43.663 billion at the end of January, the central bank (NBS) said on Tuesday.

HIGHER MEAT PRICES
Agriculture ministry said it expected pork meat prices to rise by 15 percent and chicken meat prices to rise by some 13 percent in the near future.

500 MLN CLAIM AGAINST MINISTRY
The interior ministry is expected to pay 500 million crowns ($25.33 million) to a British firm Dortex, which bought an unsettled claim against the ministry from 1999-2001 over a road rescue system.
