SLOVAK INFLATION AT 19-MONTH LOW AS ECONOMY SLOWS
Slovakia's annual inflation rate fell for the sixth consecutive month to a 19-month low in March, data showed on Tuesday, and analysts saw further easing as the country headed towards its first recession.

Passenger traffic at the Bratislava airport fell by 33 percent on the year in March, with the airport citing impact of the global crisis as the key reasons behind the fall.

CONSUMER LOANS RISE
The car-scrapping subsidy scheme, worth some 55 million euros, has boosted consumer loans, banks said. VUB Bank, a unit of Intesa SanPaolo, alone reported a 200 percent monthly rise in consumer loans in March.
