MAKUCH'S APPOINTMENT AS C.BANK GOVERNOR
President Ivan Gasparovic will officially appoint Jozef Makuch, the central bank's board member, as the incoming governor, 1230 GMT. Makuch will also take a seat at the European Central Bank's governing council.
SLOVAKIA SELLS 301 MLN EUROS OF 5-YEAR BONDS
Slovakia sold 301 million euros worth of five-year, floating rate state bonds on Monday amid lower, but still healthy, demand and said it would offer some 240 million euros worth of the same paper in March.

OUTPUT RETURNS TO GROWTH, TRADE IN SURPLUS
Slovak industrial output rose by 1.5 percent year-on-year in November, showing its first increase since September 2008, following a revised annual drop of 5.6 percent in October, the Slovak Statistics Office said on Monday.
