> <ORCO.PA> surged 43 percent in light trade while Immoeast <IMEA.VI> gained as much as 34 percent after bans on shortselling in the United States and Britain encouraged hopes for the end of the global financial woes.The Prague Stock Exchange temporarily suspended trade in Orco shares because of the heavy gains.
Developers had plunged in recent sessions over worries that a global credit crunch would prevent them from collecting essential funding for ongoing and new real estate projects.
