Workers at Poland's state-controlled copper miner KGHM <KGHM.WA> will likely vote in mid-October to go on strike over pay and management plans to consolidate mines, newspaper Parkiet reports, citing trade union representatives.
ASSECO POLAND
Poland's largest software maker Asseco Poland <SOBK.WA> plans to float its unit Asseco South Eastern Europe on the Warsaw bourse by the end of this year and may book more than 60 million zlotys ($26.5 million) in gains from revaluation of its shares in the company, its deputy chief executive told Parkiet in an interview.
CEZ
Full auctioning of CO2 emission allowances, as proposed by European Commission and slated to launch in 2013, would mean a rise in power prices by 15 to 20 euros per MWh, CEZ <

PRAGUE STOCK EXCHANGE, WARSAW BOURSE, VIENNA BOERSE
The Warsaw bourse is "the worst possible" buyer for the Prague Stock Exchange (PSE) as it may try to dampen its smaller rival's operations in favour of its own market, the PSE's CEO said in a radio talk show.
Vienna Boerse chief executive Michael Buhl reiterated the Austrian bourse is keen on acquiring the PSE, writes E15.
ANTIBIOTICE
Romanian drugs maker Antibiotice <ATBE.BX> plans to cut 100 jobs this year from the current 1,000, as part of a cost-cutting campaign aimed at reducing costs by 5-7 percent, Ziarul Financiar writes.
ROMANIAN CAPITAL GAINS TAX
Romania will suspend capital gains tax on investments in shares for one year in 2009 as part of a set of measures aimed at reviving trade on the troubled Bucharest stock exchange, authorities said on Wednesday.

Romania has picked four companies including Enel <ENEI.MI> and E.ON <EONG.DE> to build power production units for state-controlled energy producer Termoelectrica, Finance and Economy Minister Varujan Vosganian said on Wednesday.
The government also picked Electrabel, owned by France's Suez <LYOE.PA> and Czech CEZ <
