Leaders of the ruling coalition met on Tuesday but did not open the coalition pact as intended by the junior government party, the rightist Slovak National Party (SNS) which lost the environment ministry due to questionable tenders.

REPORT ON CO2 EMISSIONS DEAL
Parliament will not debate the environment ministry's report on the sale carbon emissions to U.S.-based Interblue Group, after the ruling Smer party's deputy initiated a withdrawal of the paper. Opposition claims Slovakia lost some 60 million euro in the deal.

CHEAPER FUEL PRICES
Prices of gasoline fuels will fall by one euro-cent per litre as of Wednesday, putting the average price per litre below 1.18 euro. Diesel fuels' prices remain flat, at around 1.11 euro per litre.
