ICELAND INVESTOR WITHDRAWS: Majority owners of one of the largest Czech brokerage house Wood & Co. will buy back a 49 percent stake in the brokerage from Iceland's investment bank Straumur Burdaras <STRB.IC> after the major Icelandic bank was nationalised on Monday.

SKODA SALES: Sales in Czech car maker Skoda Auto, a unit of Germany's Volkswagen <VOWG.DE> have picked up after Germany introduced a scrap subsidy. Sales in Germany rose to 11,151 cars in Fabruary from 4,591 in January. Sales in France and Italy also rose.
