their provisioning against bad loans this year as companies
suffer from the global economic downturn, Czech Banking

 AIRPORT TRAFFIC FALLS: The Prague Airport saw a 13.9
percent annual drop in the number of passengers passing through
its gates in January, statistics on its Web site showed, as the

 ICELAND INVESTOR WITHDRAWS: Majority owners of one of the
largest Czech brokerage house Wood & Co. will buy back a 49
percent stake in the brokerage from Iceland's investment bank
Straumur Burdaras <STRB.IC> after the major Icelandic bank was

 SKODA SALES: Sales in Czech car maker Skoda Auto, a unit of
Germany's Volkswagen <VOWG.DE> have picked up after Germany
introduced a scrap subsidy. Sales in Germany rose to 11,151 cars
in Fabruary from 4,591 in January. Sales in France and Italy

 SKY EUROPE LOSES PASSANGERS: Number of passengers using
airline SkyEurope <SKYV.VI> has been falling for a fifth month
in a row, with the biggest drop in February when the number fell
